JAGRAN is a non-political, social and cultural organization aiming at uplifting unprivileged class of people in the society by providing quality service within available resources, to allow people to increase their abilities and to become more self-sufficient. It strives to remove the evils and bad habits of drug addiction / alcohol consumption, providing relief to individuals/organized groups of people, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, region, sex, language or political group of affiliation. It is a non-profit making service organization also bringing about communal harmony in rural and urban areas.

With a handful of supporters and great deal of determination, we continued with our endeavors to remove the evils and bad habits of drug addiction / alcohol consumption, providing relief to individuals/organized groups of people, irrespective of caste, creed, religion, region, sex, language or political group of affiliation and gradually treading grounds of education & skill enhancement, women & child welfare, health care and rural & community development to help more and more people towards Self Reliance.
CHETNA Integrated Rehabilitation Center for Addicts. IRCA is a substance abuse unit of voluntary organization "JAGRAN" sponsored by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt of India, Providing comprehensive alcohol and drug addiction treatment rehabilitation. CHETNA IRCA has been serving Patna and other places in Bihar since 2000.
We have been running a coaching & guidance center at Navneet Colony, Hanuman Nagar, Patna for last four years by its our own resources.
For preventive education and awareness generation, capacity building, treatment, and rehabilitation.
JAGRAN was selected as P.I.A. by D.R.D.A. Sahebganj in the year 2002 for implementing “Watershed Development Program” under DPAP scheme with an integrated approach to upgrade the lives of the villagers in the concerned watershed in the Barharwa Block of Sahebganj district in Jharkhand.
To mobilize and harness the power of children, youth, women and people at large to combat illiteracy, ignorance, gender discrimination and the evil of addiction with an ultimate aim of development.
